#1) Based on the Family Life Education content areas, make a list of the skills you have mastered in the Family Child Studies program. #2) Select three work settings from this list: adoption agency, poverty housing program, elementary school, food stamp office, hospital, chamber of commerce, auto supply store, day care, parish extension office, doctor’s office, radio station, or church. #3) Explain how the skills can be used in multiple work settings. You can make a chart or mindmap (if that is helpful). Your narrative should explain the connections between your skills and selected work settings. Sometimes you have to think creatively to make the connection…but those have always been the most fun for me to figure out. I love figuring out how I can use my Family Life Education skills in any situation I am in.
