What are current issues/trends in your career field regarding workplace learning? Why are these issues/trends important?
This is the second in a series of current topics papers that you will write for this course. Your second current topics paper will focus on the importance of workplace learning in either your present or desired career. You will want to consider elements of your degree concentration when researching information for this paper. Here is your task. First, use the ATU Library to search “Workplace Learning.” Then, narrow your search to only newspaper articles. Next, identify common themes/issues relating to workplace learning. Then, write a 3-5 page paper, in APA format, that addresses the following: What is workplace learning? What are current issues/trends in your career field regarding workplace learning? Why are these issues/trends important? How might knowledge of these issues/trends impact your selection of courses in your degree? This assignment requires academic writing. This means you will be expected to write a clear, concise, structured paper. You should have an overall topic/theme, a clear introduction and conclusion, and paragraphs with topic sentences and supporting details. You are also expected to cite the resources you use in this paper. You are required to reference the books/research articles/newspaper articles that you use to support your paper. You MUST use references to support your paper. Again, this paper should be in APA format and include a title page and reference page. The title page and reference page do not count toward your 3-5 page total. You will be graded on how well you address the four questions, how well you incorporate references, and spelling/grammar.
