Critically analyse Project Piaxtla from a participatory planning approach to health and development. In particular, focus on the following issues in the Project and their relationship to the principles and practices of participatory planning: • How needs were assessed and changes over time in needs assessment • Who participated in the program and who may not have participated • How issues of inequity were addressed or not addressed • The extent to which processes and actions were congruent with principles and processes of participatory planning Assignment 3 Rubric Content Comments Grade Have clearly written and succinct introduction /5 Demonstrate an understanding of relevant literature that contributes to participatory approaches to planning in development and health /25 Demonstrate an understanding of the principles and processes involved in participatory planning /25 Demonstrate an ability to critical analyse the material in the case study by using a theory as a framework for analysis /15 Demonstrate an ability to identify issues of inequity and how these were addressed or not addressed in the Project Piaxtla /10 Justification of statement with well informed arguments rather than just making as assertion /5 Have a clear flow and logical structure of the assignment, accurate spelling grammar and sentence and paragraph construction /5 Demonstrate thorough research of academic databases and comply with clear writing normal academic standards of referencing and bibliographical details
