Select a Mfraq hospital for which you will review and develop a strategic plan. If you are affiliated to a hospital it is preferable that you select it as your study setting. However it is imperative that the study hospital be one in which some strategic planning has been carried out. The three assignments are all parts of the hospital strategic plan and should be conducted in the same setting.
Tasks
1. Describe briefly the study hospital.
2. Describe how the strategic planning function is carried out in the study hospital and describe its outputs in the last 5 years.
3. Identify and briefly explain components of the health care environment that currently affect or are likely to affect the study hospital in the near future.
