Assignment #1 Assignment #1 is a short paper that addresses Steps 1 to 4 in the Ten Steps in the Planning Process outlined below. Please follow outline below to make sure everything is covered in the paper. Prior to this assignment’s due date, you will have determine the background, focus, and purpose for your social marketing plan and conduct a situation analysis (SWOT – strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats). Your SWOT analysis should be included as an Appendix and it follows the reference page(s). The background, focus, and purpose of your plan should be described in this paper with the specific target audience you are choosing (Step 3) and the behavioural objectives and goals you hope your plan will achieve (Step 4). The details of the short paper are as follows: • Paper should be at least 4 double-spaced pages in length. • Use Times New Roman (preferred) or other suitable font and the type size must be 12 point. • Give your paper a title that reflects your target audience and primary behavioural goal, e. g., Improving Park League Soccer Participation among Adolescents in Oshawa. • Subheadings are recommended. • Follow the APA Publication Manual style guide. Create a title page for your assignment, but you do not need to have a running head. Please number the pages.
