Discuss one known pathogenic organism which has been a national or global health concern in the last 5 years, the type of pathogen, it’s mode of transmission, the most vulnerable populations, and ways in which it has (or could be) controlled to reduce its impact as a human health concern.

2. Include topic- The Environmental policies to Protect Human Health and investigate changes in environmental regulations that have occurred during the current administration (1/2016 to current) which affect (positively or negatively) the implementation of the regulation. Be specific in how the recent changes affect the implementation of past policy.

3. Identify and describe a NY state CERCLA Superfund site that contains heavy metal contaminations of at least one heavy metal in toxic concentrations. You must discuss what was done on the site that led to the production of the heavy metal contamination (for example: if manufacture, what did they manufacture), and what has been done to ameliorate the situation. You must pick an active or previously active site where some cleanup has been done or is currently in progress and note the toxicity level at this time.
