Write a career plan that details the goals you want to reach at each of these points in time. Address how you will achieve those goals. Goals and strategies should be as specific as possible- use the SMART model for goal setting. In your career plan, include a timeline that shows the pivotal points required to achieve your plan. Discuss the support, resources (including time and money), educational development, additional training, etc.; you anticipate needing to fulfill your career plan.
The career plan should be no more than 5 pages. Your plan should be supported with reliable and credible information from professional peer reviewed nursing journals and/or nursing professional organizational websites. APA format should be used in writing your plan.
