Mrs. Gonzalez speaks limited English, requiring a language translator for communication between care providers and herself. She is scheduled for a right hip replacement this morning and has had all her labs completed and resulted, has not eaten anything since midnight the night before. She has not been consented for her surgery and she indicates to you that she has some questions about the surgery and care afterwards.
