How do these memorials and artworks create a sense of collective memory?
Hello writer this my last essay in the course and i want to get a very high grade, so please follow the given instructions very carefully. 1. Essay question Each student is required to complete a five to seven page paper on the following prompt: Consider three memorials of your choosing one should be a physical memorial in the former Ottoman Empire, one physical memorial outside of the former Ottoman Empire, and one non-physical memorial (song, poem, movie, etc). How do these memorials and artworks create a sense of collective memory? What is the collective memory they create for their audience? Some questions you may want to consider as you create your answer: Who do these memorials imagine as their audience? What aspects of the war do these memorials capture? What aspects of the war do they glance over? What is the impact of highlighting or omitting these aspects?) (Note: I uploaded a file with several memorials. I would prefer that you choose two from your own and one from the uploaded file or chose 3 memorials from your own.) 2. please follow the rubric uploaded. dont forget Thesis statement, topic sentences and strong evidences and analyzing the evidence. 3. The paper should be argumentative rather than just listing facts. 4. The paper should focus on the thesis statement in the the introduction and in the essay try to expand that idea. 5. you can add 2 more sources from your own other than the 3 memorial you choose, so a total of 4 or 5 sources will be good. sources you can use: – john keegan “The first world war” -Robert graves “Good bye to all that” -michael neiberg ” The world war I” – or sources from your own 6. Please avoid spelling mistakes in the paper. 7. (Note: once the paper is finished i might check the paper with the professor and there might be few changes in the paper. so ill send it back to you for revision will that be fine? ill send it at least one day earlier before the submission date.
