Summary This assignment builds on your learning from the class workshop tasks, seminars and lectures. You will need to apply the taught content of the module to your work. Assignment Description Working individually, produce a series of reflective pieces on set topics (see below) and a focused personal development plan. Careers in the Media (40%): Four short articles describing and evaluating the guest speaker series (one about each speaker). These articles should be academically referenced, incorporating areas of theory, context and practice. Portfolio Artefacts (40%): Four short articles describing and evaluating four creative projects you have produced. These can be from the list below: 1. Audio Project Discussion, Audio Monologue, Podcast. 2. Video Project Short documentary format, agreed fiction brief. 3. Indesign magazine sample. 4. Logo design samples. 5. Photoshop promotional image design (Photoshop) (Poster, Website, etc.). 6. Motion Title Design for video (Adobe After Effects). 7. Film Reviews (written) 8. TV Series Review (written) 9. Script for an advert (Professionally formatted) 10. Another agreed project. Your projects must be agreed with your tutor so that you are working on a selection of pieces that demonstrate your group and individual working capabilities. You must participate in (at least) one live brief. These articles should practice . Personal Development Planning (20%) : A short summary of your aims and objectives (or goals) and how you have attempted to achieve these, along with a set of future goals you would like to achieve in from your studies that will develop your professional profile. All of these pieces should be published on your website and submitted in a single document via Turnitin. The total wordcount for these articles should be 1500 words Learning Outcomes Assessed by this Assignment (approx).
