SAMPLING ISSUE

According to the given analysis of two communities, it has been noted how there are certain health and safety issues in areas. People get notice; it is important to obtain evidential reports so they can change their lifestyle and discourage such incidents (Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt, 2011). Consider the issues of these communities; another problem is the inclusion of people in such studies. Not every person is willing to participate comfortably in a healthcare study. Therefore, the required sample for obtaining the result-oriented education in this scenario will be discussed along with the difficulties in getting it. Furthermore, the advantages and disadvantages of other usable examples will be debated.

Sample needed

To prevent the fatal lifestyles of people in the Ironridge, and Summerville communities, samples of health examination need to be collected from a variety of individuals. These targeted people need to belong to the environment that has identified as dangerous for their health. For example, the people from the burger restaurant in Ironridge Community need to be tested as they work nearby an open- constructed area. Furthermore, the general IQ samples can be collected from the same community. The reason is the person sleeping right under the sign of bio-hazardous waste. These would be done to check an average awareness of residents in this community.

Types of Sampling

There are five types of sampling, but only some can use to collect the required samples. The first category that can use is Random sampling. Random sampling refers to the random selection of people that could represent the entire population of a particular community. For instance, some people working at the burger restaurant and some customers from the same restaurant can be selected for this kind of sampling in the Ironridge community.

Advantages and Disadvantages

The advantage of such a sampling method is the selection of people who are interested in the study. Such people have a tendency to read the review after it has completed and passed it on to their loved ones. This way, the ethics of research remain intact (Resnik, 2012). The disadvantage, however, is the amount of time and effort that can waste on this kind of sample collection. It becomes tough to achieve.

The second sampling type that can use is the Convenience Sampling. According to this sampling technique, people can be reached from the communities that are easily accessible. For example, the customers at the burger restaurant in the Ironridge community can be chosen.

Advantages and Disadvantages

The advantage of this method is the quick analysis of the data collected. As the participants only have to answer a few questions or fill a form, not many people are required, and the result has obtained quickly (Walsh, 2001). On the other hand, the drawback includes a general bias in the results obtained. The participating people might belong to one community and may only answer according to each other.

It can conclude that a sampling can be used as a technique to convey safety and healthcare concerns to the people of a community. It has noted that there are different types of sampling, out of which some can use in the presented scenario. In similar cases, it can be noted that such techniques may be useful and evidence-based for the people and their health.
