hi on the previous semester one of your colleagues did the first part of my dissertation with the research title “The impact of Brexit on the constructions industry in the United Kingdom “. and this semester need to be continue.i will attach a copy of the first part he did.From the first part please use a base of 2000 up to 2500 words and no more than that. Then you will need to analyze in detail “The impact of Brexit on the constructions industry for example on London and analyze the subject. then look into how will the east european or european workers in the construction industry will be affected or any other subject you may find it easy to approach . the following comments are made by the lecturer who grade the work:(Overall This is the basis for a strong dissertation proposal. The scope, however, is far too broad and this will need narrowing down it is not really practical to look at the whole of the construction industry this is easily adjustable. The methodology although thought out and justified also needs to be reviewed. Theory Objectives and questions are coherent though very broad in scope. More could be done to underpin the research through consideration of relevant academic theory. What relevant macro and micro economic theories for instance could be used here. This lack of theoretical underpinning can be addressed as part of the dissertation Relevance The potential impact of Brexit on the construction is explored though ore could be done to explore the potential impact on the supply of housing/buildings/ costs and so on. The work does however, highlight the impact on both labour supply and the impact on materials availability. Methodology This is in many ways well thought out and, in many cases, justified. However, there is a need to review the approach to data collection. Reliance on published sources and a cut-off date of 2018 may not allow capture of the impact of Brexit. A different approach using 2019 sources and collection of primary data may work better in terms of capturing the impact of any exit Structure The work develops logically and is clearly written.
