The Nursing shortage has been, and will continue to be a challenge for the health care sector. Using information from the textbook, and at least eight scholarly sources, write a minimum of 2500 words (approx. 10 pages in the body. This does not include the Title, abstract, or references pages) double-spaced with 12 point font of New Times Roman to address the following: – Overview of the nursing shortage, where it stands today – What are successful organizations doing right, to recruit and retain nurses? What are other organizations doing poorly? – Imagine you work in recruitment for a large hospital/health care organization. Provide a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) Analysis of that organization’s recruitment and retention plan. You will need to be creative here. You are encouraged to source out realistic data to support your analysis. – What ideas do you have to improve recruitment and retention of RN’s? Remember, be realistic. Simply paying them more money is Not an option…that money has to come from somewhere! Be professional, and concise. Review the cover and reference page template for written assignments. Cite ALL sources! All work will be checked for originality. It is considered plagiarism if you type a phrase from a source and do not place it in quotes with the appropriate in-text citation. If you do not want to quote directly, it is always acceptable to paraphrase, but you must also cite the source from which you got the idea. Remember, the more references you have, the easier it is to write your paper. And remember, Do Not use Wikipedia!!!!!
