Write a Reflective Essay that includes two parts. The first is a course-by-course review of your learning and application. The second is focused on the learning objectives of the program as a whole and how well you think the program has been in achieving those goals. What were your key learning experiences in each of the courses? Please be sure to write with description and detail including how you may have integrated the knowledge and skills into your practice. How well do you feel the program learning objectives were integrated across the curriculum? Examples again are helpful in your description but your review does not need to be done course-by-course. The Five Core Principles that guide the MSOL Program are: An interdisciplinary critical analysis approach, Issue and solution building centric learning, A transformative learning process, An integrative systems thinking approach, and Applied research and application. The Reflective Essay will go at the beginning of the Portfolio. It should be approximately 12-15 pages. DUE WEEK 5 2) Personal Leadership Philosophy and Practice Essay Please think about the following situation to set the context for what we are looking for in this essay. You are sitting down in an interview (maybe for a new job, promotion or just an inquiring conversation). You are asked How would you describe yourself as a leader in terms of values, attitudes, and behaviors? In this essay you will draw upon your study of leadership in the program including leadership theories and practices, examples of leaders who are role models that you want to emulate and your own personal and professional experience. Using this material develop a statement of your leadership philosophy. The essay provides an opportunity to define and describe the core leadership values you hold or aspire to and the attitudes and behaviors that bring about successful leadership in action.
