The word limit for individual reports is 2000 words, 3000 words for pairs, and 4000 words for group reports. The contribution of each must be recorded in author bios at the start of the report. This option is a more traditional piece of business writing. In this task, you are required to select a small or medium-sized business (SME) of your choice, then write a business report, analysing and recommending appropriate Digital Marketing strategies. The intended audience for this report is the senior management of the company that you have selected – assume that the reader has limited knowledge of current Digital Marketing trends. NOTE: For this assignment, you are required to be in direct contact with the business you are writing for. Marks are distributed based on strategic digital marketing implementations that you do for this business during the semester. Thus, you need to make sure you choose an SME that is happy for you to implement some new digital marketing strategies for them during the semester. The report should: Be professionally formatted, with an executive summary, table of content, author bios and reference list, and if required, tables (words within reason) and appendix; Briefly, describe the business and the market in which it operates; Provide a detailed description of the company’s current marketing strategies; Provide a critical analysis of current digital trends and activities in the microenvironment; Describe key areas where digital marketing technology will impact the industry and company over the next two years; Make recommendations for changes to the company’s Digital Marketing approach; Include a clear action plan (in a table format with a brief summary).
